How does a fresh graduate spend his first pay check? Right, on a trip to Paris! This was my first trip that triggered a desire to travel and try out new, unknown things.
At that point, the craziest things in my mind was to try snails and frogs’ legs. The cliche food that you associate with France. I just had to do it.
As expected, the legs tasted like chicken (a very bony one), but the snails were amazingly good. Six little shells served piping hot with sizzling garlic butter.
During those 4 days that I spent in Paris, I got to see:
1. The Eiffel Tower (It’s a good idea to get the tickets beforehand online.)
3. Sacré-Cœur Basilica
4. Museum of Eroticism
5. Moulin Rouge (Saddly, the guys I was with said “no” to going on a show.)
6. Espace Dalí (Salvador Dali museum devoted mostly to his drawings and sculptures.)
8. Notre-Dame de Paris
9. Louvre (Be sure to wear comfortable shoes!)
10. Pompidou Centre
And here’s one more cliche.
